My Maternity Style - Non-Maternity Maternity Clothes

Throughout my pregnancy I have tried my best to find pieces in my closet that could work with my growing belly without investing alot of money into actual maternity clothes. The items that worked the best for me that were still super duper comfortable were:
1. Maxi skirts or dresses - Super stretchy and can pair so many different options up top
2. Dresses with a waist drawstring - Obviously you want to find one that is long enough to cover your growing belly, but having that drawstring can allow you to cinch your waist in if you so desire.
3. Shorts with elastic waistbands
4. Longer baggy tank tops
5. Long/stretchy spaghetti straps or tanks
6. Baggy button ups

The picture above shows some examples of how I styled some of my favorite non-maternity maternity clothes!

Bargain Beauty- $1 E.L.F. Cosmetics

Earlier this week, I Instagramed a picture of my local ALCO that is now carrying E.L.F. products from their essentials collection (Eyes, Lips, Face). I have so many favorite cosmetic products from this brand it's cray....the prices are even more cray...That being said, i'm so stoked that I have access to their "Essentials" line, meaning everything is $1. They do sell these products in Target and other drugstores but usually I would just have to purchase online. Featured below are 4 items that I feel like everyone needs in their makeup collection.

TOP LEFT:
Eyelash Curler- Believe it or not this handy little tool makes so much difference in the way your lashes look after your mascara application.

TOP RIGHT:
Clarifying Powder- I would highly recommend this product in the darker shades as a bronzer/contour color. Specifically the colors: Spice & Honey.

BOTTOM LEFT:
Eyeshadow Primer- If you have oily eyelids or have issues with your eyeshadow creasing or melting off during the day, you have to give this product a shot.  Not only will this allow for your eyeshadow to stay on all day but it greatly improves the pigmentation on your eyeshadows as well!

BOTTOM RIGHT:
Eyeshadow Brush: Not too big, not too stiff, this brush is necessary for eyeshadow application, and for $1 you can easily buy a backup to throw in your purse for late night touch ups!

All of these products I have tried higher-end versions of and they definitely pull their weight in effectiveness and quality for the $1 value. I really hope that you decide to "splurge" on these items if you have access to them! If not, www.eyeslipsface.com has a bazillion other product lines ranging from $1-$3 including awesome blushes, more brushes, eyeshadows, lipsticks, etc. that are really stellar.

Let us know if you try any of these products or if you maybe have your own favorites!

Graphic Design- Royal Invitations

Hello All! Today I present you with the most elaborate, sparkly, glamorous, most frickin' amazing invitations I've ever had the opportunity to design. If these photos don't speak for themselves then let me just explain...foil printing on a cream cardstock, glitter envelope liners, tiffany blue envelopes with star confetti sprinkled on the inside, sealed with a crown wax seal, wrapped in an outer envelope with hand written addresses.  These were done for a high school senior ladies breakfast and the theme was "Let Their Reign Begin" and I literally was handed the reigns to make these the most fun, exciting, ROYAL pieces of memorabilia to set the tone for this event.  I had so much fun coming up with this concept as well as getting my hands glittery in assembling these beauts. Even my husband was sweet enough to get in on helping me with the construction:) I couldn't wait to hear what my client and recipients thought of these invitations so I included some social media reactions below from the girls to my client's daughter, these just literally made my heart smile.

Charisse and I can be commissioned to do all things creative.  Graphic Design is something we have the education for but we have the passion to design, create, construct all things crafty and pretty.  I was honored to be a part of this project and I hope you all enjoy it as well!
